Zoe Osborne graduated from Ryerson School of Interior Design.  She grew up in Barbados and currently works as a Junior Interior Designer in Toronto. She is the founder of Mahogany Culture.

BLUE CHAIR

This project is a conversation about colonial Barbadian furniture styles realized in modern context symbolizing freedom of expression and breaking away from the "norm"

DIS - CONNECT

The project deals with the disconnection between contrasting ways of living and the difficulty to connect with the different aspects of life in a metropolitan city. The contrast between the representation of vernacular architecture of the island Barbados and Toronto’s city scape helps to express the feeling of transparency and exposure.

MIRROR IMAGE

This poster pays homage to Barbados' National Hero Errol Barrow and deals with identity as it relates to Barbadian tradition and modern existence.
